Designed in collaboration with DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Maxxis Dissector is built to minimize rolling resistance while maintaining confident cornering control. Versatile in design, it can be run on the front, rear, or as a pair depending on trail conditions. Brosnan’s signature model excels in loose terrain, delivering excellent grip and reliable performance.
- MAXXIS DISSECTOR: Designed by DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector minimizes drag while retaining cornering control. This versatile tire can be used front or rear or as a pair depending on conditions.
- 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate triple compound configuration used across our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
- EXO: A cut and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of many of our gravel and MTB tires. Suitable for use in a wide range of riding applications from gravel to XC to light trail duty.
- E25: Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 16.1 MPH.
- WIDE TRAIL: Optimizes the tire’s tread layout and profile to match today’s modern, wider rims. Maxxis offers WT tires for everything from XC to gravity applications. A 30mm internal width rim is ideal for most applications, but WT tires can be used on rims ranging from 19mm to 35mm internal.
